Computer display fault is divided into soft fault and hard fault, when our monitor can not display properly, we should first simple analysis, fault out where, whether the software setup problem or the monitor's internal circuit is broken, and then determine whether you need to send repair, so you can run less wrong ways.
According to the fault classification of the monitor there are the following failure phenomena:
1. Black screen
When you turn on the computer, no images appear after a few minutes. At this point, you should first look at whether the power led on the monitor panel is lit. If it is not lit, check that the monitor's power plug is connected.
If the power cord is plugged in well (to make sure that the power outlet has electricity, you can change a jack to try it), and the power switch is on, but the monitor indicator light is not lit, which indicates that the monitor internal circuit is faulty, then should be sent to the Special maintenance Department repair. If the monitor's power light is on, you should restart your computer and notice if the host's light is shining and if there is a "beep" in the host. If it is stated that the computer has started normally. At this time should check the monitor and the host's signal cable connection is normal, and the host connected to the 15-pin D-shaped plug is loose, the plug inside the needle is broken, crooked, short and so on.
If the connection is normal (if there is a condition to change a monitor to try, or change a host to try, who's fault immediately see out, because there is also a video card failure), indicating that the display inside a fault, should be sent to repair. At present, the display is energy-saving, according to the host sent by the Line field synchronization signal automatically work in the corresponding State and mode, the indicator light on the panel at the same time indicate the corresponding state.
Usually orange flashes-shutdown or sleep, orange-hang, yellow-wait, green-normal display.
When your monitor black screen, after your careful examination is not the main problem of the host, then it is best not to continuously or long time to the monitor to add electricity, so as not to expand the fault.
2. Flower screen
Usually because the monitor does not support the display mode sent by the host, it is often higher than the display mode of the monitor, causing the image confusion on the screen, unable to see the image and text on the screen clearly. If it is a monitor with automatic pattern recognition, it may be a black screen state, but the light below the panel is green. At this point you can restart the computer into Safe mode, change the display mode to 640*480, and then start the computer again to recover. If this method does not work, you can remove the graphics driver in Safe mode and then reinstall the graphics driver in normal mode. There is also a fixed position display confusion on the screen in the event of a memory failure of the graphics card, while other places are displayed normally.
There are also individual video card damage caused by the flower screen, but the probability of this situation is very small.
3. Color deficiency
The more obvious is the lack of red or yellow, or blue, or it may be color confusion, but the image details are clear. At this point the monitor takes a little longer to see, the eyes are very uncomfortable, there is a tingling sensation. At this point you can check your monitor and host's connection plug after shutting down to see if the needle inside is broken (not completely missing, but only half), loose, crooked (deflected on one side or connected to other needles). (Note that monitors and hosts usually use 15-pin D-shaped plugs, generally only 11, usually empty 9 and 5, 11th needles, we do not have to be surprised, do not artificially with a pin to fill the lack of needles). Check to see if the video card is loose. If there is no problem with these, the monitor can be delivered for repair.
When the entire screen appears red (R), Green (G), Blue (B), it must be the internal circuit of the monitor broken.
4. Color blocks
If you have irregular color blocks on your monitor screen, you should check to see if there are magnetic objects around your monitor, such as radios, mobile phones, CD machines, magnetic screwdrivers, and so on.
Also pay attention to display and air conditioning, refrigerators, washing machines, televisions and other household appliances do not rely too close. If your speaker is not magnetic, it will cause the display to be magnetized. If this is the cause, you can use the monitor's manual degaussing function (Degauss) to solve these problems. If your monitor is not manually degaussing, you can shut down the monitor for 30 minutes or more, and then turn it on in general to resolve it.
Repeat the above process two to three times.
